We provide a secure online ordering system, incorporating flexible reporting options, process monitoring and online billing.

Download our Brochure for further information.

For instructions on how to use our online service follow the instructions listed below or alternatively contact a CVI representative by calling 0845 1302481 for further information.

Setting up an Account:

If you are a new customer, you will need to register with CVI before using the online system.  Click here Open an Account Today.  Once you have registered, you will be sent a username and password, which you can use to login on CVI’s home page.

  • To start, enter your username in the dialogue box.
  • Next, enter your password in the second dialogue box.

Note: If you have forgotten or not received your username / password, please contact CVI by calling 0845 130 2481 or emailing contact@cvinsight.co.uk.

Note: If you are a new customer and have logged into the system for the first time, you will be asked to change the initial password. Once you have reset your password, the system will inform you that you are not currently logged in.  In order to log into the system, you will be asked to re-enter your new password.

Your password should contain a minimum of seven characters and should contain a combination of words and numbers. CVI recommends not using names of family members, or pets or dates of birth. Do not write down your password and username or store them on your computer.

If you have forgotten your password, a new one can be e-mailed to you.  For security reasons you will need to confirm your username and either your surname or the e-mail address set up for your account (i.e. the e-mail address to which your reports are sent). Your new password will then be e-mailed to you.  If you do not receive your password within a few minutes, please contact our team by calling 0845 130 2481.

Note:  If you are experiencing problems at any time accessing the system, please contact a CVI representative by calling 0845 130 2481 or e-mailing contact@cvinsight.co.uk.

Targeting Addresses:

Most addresses can be targeted easily using the house number or name and postcode.  However, some addresses are more difficult to find. The following guidelines will help you in targeting unusual addresses:

1.         Keep it simple.  Minimal input will achieve maximum returns.  By using the three key elements of an address, you stand a better chance of targeting it than if you input the entire address.

Key elements are:

  • House number/house name/flat number
  • Street/building name
  • Town

2.         A house number over-rules a house name and flat number:  Example:

Address

What should be keyed

Mrs Sheila Simmons

Mrs Sheila Simmons

Thatchcroft

Not needed

28

28

Helpsron Road

Helpsron Road

Ailsworth

Ailsworth

Peterborough

-not necessary

Cambs

-not necessary

3.         When there are multiple numbers, think like the postman, ask yourself: which letter box? Use this as the house number.

In the example below, Mrs Julie Rowland lives at flat 2 of City House. When entering her address details, 157 and Derby Road are unnecessary. A postman would know that letters need to go through the letter box at 2, City House, Derby Road, Basford. Therefore the three important address elements are the flat number 2, the building name City House and the town Basford.

Mrs. Julie Rowland

157

Basford

4.         London addresses must have the first part of the postcode. On most of the systems we use you can miss out the town name and type the first part of the postcode in the town field.

Address

What should be keyed

Mrs. Patricia Horton

6.         Some rural addresses have many elements but actually only require 2 key elements.

In the example below the address can be targeted using just the House Name and Locality.
